Team Days/Team Development

Team Development always starts with some work to understand where the team is at currently and where they want or need to be. By understanding any barriers and strengths, the most appropriate team development methods can then be utilised.

Where appropriate I like to work utilising Lencioni’s work on what is needed for effective teamwork and utilising a strengths-based approach often identifying strengths of team members and the full team using Strengthscope or identifying personality types utilising the Myers Briggs Type Indicator profiling tool.

I can design team days in conjunction with your needs as a manager and/or members of the team, it maybe that we need to start with building trust before we can look at other essential parts such as agreed behaviours, embracing and managing conflict, decision making, creating shared objectives and holding each other to account.
