Who am I?
My name is Sarah Teagle and I am a highly experienced and accredited executive and work-place performance coach and learning and development professional.
I have had over 30 years of experience in learning and development at AstraZeneca, The University of Manchester and working with many varied and well-known organisations through my business. I have completed hundreds of hours of coaching and as a result I am recognised as a Senior Practitioner for the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. My career has focused on supporting people in their development believing it can make a tangible difference to individuals, teams and an organisation’s results when delivered effectively. I am passionate about the power of well delivered learning and development interventions and coaching and the impact they can have.
My style is friendly, supportive, developmental, and practical, with tasks identified to take action to move forward. I like to work from a positive psychology perspective focusing on strengths. Feedback from clients focuses on my openness, empathy, integrity and the encouraging, safe and trusted environment I provide.
I draw on my extensive work experience having worked on large projects building key organisational capabilities such as supporting and managing change, building business acumen, strategic thinking, influencing and leadership and management. I am aware and conscious of the differing cultures in organisations, for example, the specific challenges academic leadership brings compared to business leadership. My previous work took many forms supporting individuals, to teams, to organisation-wide global initiatives and involved supporting at all levels up to senior executives.
My personal interests are focused towards the outdoors, in particular, I love mountains so I am often hill walking and trekking. I have completed some long multi-day, high altitude treks in Nepal’s Everest and Annapurna regions, The Haute Route in Switzerland, The Tour Du Mont Blanc and this year I am doing a trek in the Hunza Valley and the Karakorum Mountains in Pakistan. The mountain photos on the site are from my various trips. Having said that I also like more normal travel having fun with my friends and family.
